Who wouldn’t want to be able to predict the future?  In many cases, we can.  The practice of predictive analytics allows us to make our best guesses (supported by data of course) as to how things are going to play out in certain situations, and under certain conditions.  The use of this approach is a necessary practice when it comes to Marketing.  For example, sifting through massive amounts of data, trying to find the right prospects or customers to send offers to can be very expensive and can provide little to no return.
